Basic Job Functions:
As a member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the General Manager, the Division CFO is an integral part of developing and executing on the division's business strategy. The Division CFO is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring strong governance and controls, and leadership of Finance, HR, Legal, and IT functions to support the business. Finance Leadership, Risk Management, Compliance, and IT Own the division's overall financial strategy, to include forecasting, working capital management, and capital allocation. Oversee all financial reporting functions, including accounting close, internal controls, and GAAP and Corporate policy compliance. Understand, monitor, and effectively communicate KPI's throughout the business to create actionable business insights that drive outcomes. Develop and implement processes and workflows to maximize resources using technology and systems. Provide legal oversight and support through use of internal and third-party legal resources for commercial activities, purchasing contracts, and all other legal activities within the business. Provide oversight for shared service IT functions to ensure division security, teammate support, and technology advancement to support division strategies. Human Resources Leadership Lead division talent strategy, including talent acquisition and teammate growth and development. Ensure consistent application and administration of HR policies. Leadership, Strategic Planning, Business Partnership, and Team Development Lead, nurture and advance the Nucor culture. Coach and develop other leaders and high performing teammates. Actively participate and drive the division's safety efforts Actively participate in the development and execution of the overall business strategy to support long-term profitable growth. Build strong cross-functional partnerships to lead across the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree in an applicable field, CPA, CMA or MBA At least three years of work experience in financial-related leadership positions Must be able to comply with Nucor's conflict-of-interest requirements, including disclosing any actual, potential, or apparent conflicts involving personal, financial, or family relationships that could affect independent judgment or job responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing business. Prior leadership of HR department Knowledge and competency in contract language. Advanced Excel skills. Experience utilizing AI tools to drive efficiencies in business functions. Willingness to relocate for future leadership opportunities within Nucor.
