The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, including planning, management, and reporting, to support the company's growth and sustainability. This executive role requires a deep understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and strategic planning within both corporate and nonprofit sectors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, and expertise in financial analysis to guide informed decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Duties Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Oversee all accounting functions such as general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and corporate accounting practices. Ensure compliance with
GAAP, SOX
regulations, and governmental accounting standards. Manage financial reporting processes, including the preparation of accurate financial statements, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports. Lead risk management initiatives to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. Supervise financial software systems to optimize efficiency in financial data management and reporting. Oversee internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure integrity in financial operations. Collaborate with business development teams on sales strategies and new revenue opportunities. Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions. Provide leadership in strategic planning initiatives to support organizational growth and sustainability. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to nonprofit or corporate finance. Requirements Proven experience in financial sales, negotiation, and business development within a corporate or nonprofit environment. Strong background in non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and technical accounting practices such as SOX compliance. Extensive knowledge of GAAP, financial concepts, risk management, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across multiple departments. Expertise in financial analysis, profit & loss management, corporate finance, and strategic planning. Proficiency with financial software systems and general ledger accounting tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle complex projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective report writing and stakeholder engagement. Relevant professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred but not mandatory.
