Job Description

Riverside Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative finance professional to support our Chief Financial Officer in leading the financial operations of our hospital and affiliated clinics. This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of a rural Critical Access Hospital while supporting budgeting, reporting, and revenue cycle initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant will support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in providing both strategic and operational financial leadership for the hospital and its affiliated clinics. This role serves as a collaborative partner in promoting the long-term financial stability of a rural Critical Access Hospital.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with accounting operations, reimbursement analysis, and revenue cycle initiatives Supporting budgeting processes, financial reporting, and audit preparation Contributing to process improvement efforts across financial operations Maintaining internal financial controls and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Assisting with grant reporting, restricted fund tracking, and special financial projects Supporting fixed asset tracking, capital expenditure planning, and financial feasibility analysis Staying current on healthcare finance regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and industry best practices Performing other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, efficiency, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working effectively with others.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university (required) At least three (3) years of financial experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience with: Hospital reimbursement Budgeting Revenue cycle operations Financial analysis

$58,204.29 - $70,095.48 per year
