Mortgage experience is a must and this role will over see individual CFO's and Controllers as well as a large accounting team in multiple businesses. This candidate will work hand and hand with CEO to report on all financial results compiling data from all facets of the business. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Interpret financial reports to provide insights into business performance and areas for improvement. Write detailed financial reports that communicate findings to stakeholders effectively. Manage cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. Oversee revenue management processes to maximize income generation opportunities. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic planning initiatives that align with corporate goals. Forecast future financial trends based on historical data and market analysis. Assist in investment decisions by providing thorough financial assessments and recommendations. Qualifications CPA certification is preferred. Proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in financial report interpretation and writing, with excellent analytical skills. Experience in cost control and revenue management strategies. Strong strategic planning capabilities with the ability to forecast effectively. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
