We are currently poised for significant expansion following strategic investments in new international markets, advanced process engineering, and product development. The Opportunity We are seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance and accounting functions while serving as a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team. This role is designed for a financially rigorous, detail-oriented leader who blends traditional executive strategy with a strong controller mindset and enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day operations. Role Overview The CFO will oversee all financial activities across our North American manufacturing operations, including our established U.S. and international subsidiaries. You will be responsible for driving data-informed decision-making and scaling the financial systems, controls, and processes necessary to support our continued growth within the engineered packaging and industrial supply chain sectors. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Reporting Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting activities for the parent company and its international manufacturing subsidiary. Ensure timely, accurate monthly financial statements Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP Lead year-end close, audits, tax coordination, and banking relationships Controller-Style Execution Manage and participate in day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, AR/AP, payroll, and cash flow management Develop and refine financial policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy Ensure strong cost tracking and margin analysis, particularly in manufacturing and packaging operations Strategic & Operational Partnership Partner closely with the CEO and COO to support operational and strategic decisions Provide financial analysis, KPI tracking, and actionable insights related to production efficiency, pricing, margins, capital investments, and growth initiatives Participate in discussions around operations, supply chain, labor, and capacity planning Support long-term planning, scenario modeling, and capital allocation decisions Data-Driven Decision Making Build and enhance reporting tools and dashboards that support data-driven leadership Translate financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the business Qualifications & Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 8+ years of directly related experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of directly related experience. Strong financial and accounting background with progressive leadership experience Demonstrated ability to manage people and build effective teams High level of comfort working hands-on in the details while also thinking strategically Strong analytical skills and experience making data-driven recommendations Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment Preferred CPA or MBA Background in cost accounting and inventory-driven environments ERP system experience in a manufacturing setting Experience in manufacturing and/or packaging industry Experience supporting or overseeing international or Mexico-based operations Why Join Our Team Opportunity to shape and strengthen the financial controls and reporting of a growing packaging company Direct influence on strategy and operations; close partnership with executive leadership Compensation & Benefits Total compensation package will be competitive based on experience, skills and years of service.
