This is a unique opportunity to build and scale the finance function from the ground up while playing a key role on the senior leadership team. The organization is experiencing rapid expansion, with a clear goal to significantly grow revenue over the next several years through both organic growth and acquisitions across the U.S. and Canada.
The Opportunity:
This role will begin as a highly lean finance function, with the CFO working alongside one key operations partner. Over time, this leader will be responsible for building and leading a team of 4-5 finance professionals within the first three years. The CFO will play a critical role in establishing financial infrastructure, driving strategic decision-making, and supporting continued expansion in a complex, multi-entity environment.Key Responsibilities:
Lead all finance and accounting functions across North America Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes (advanced Excel required) Build and manage consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and P&Ls Oversee month-end close, chart of accounts, and accounting standardization Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence for acquisitions Partner closely with senior leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives Help design and implement scalable financial systems and processes Potentially oversee HR functions as the organization evolves Build and develop a high-performing finance team over timeMust Haves:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA required Background in audit, accounting, or controllership Experience with multi-entity consolidations Proven ability to clean up and professionalize financial operations Comfortable in high-growth, fast-changing environments Strong financial modeling and Excel skills Experience supporting M&A and due diligence processes preferredWhat They're Looking For:
