The CFO will play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, treasury management, derivatives and hedging, mortgage operations, and regulatory compliance. The position is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a results-driven leader who can guide teams, optimize financial systems, and provide forward-looking insights to drive sustainable growth. Responsibilities Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the enterprise Lead ALM, ALCO, Audit Committee, 401K Committee, and function as Secretary of the Board of Directors Manage derivatives, hedging, and interest rate risk strategies Direct M&A activities, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration Partner with mortgage division on $4 B+ loan portfolio and correspondent mortgage activities across 15 states Implement and optimize core banking and treasury management systems Ensure compliance with FDIC, state, and federal regulatory requirements Qualifications and Requirements CPA designation and prior CFO experience in a financial institution strongly preferred 10 years of experience; p roven track record in M&A, strategic planning, and financial leadership Expertise in derivatives, hedging, treasury and banking operations Ability to manage both strategic vision and day-to-day operations Exceptional leadership skills and ability to influence at the executive level Benefits and Perks Competitive base salary plus discretionary bonus Long-term deferred compensation Executive PTO and relocation assistance Medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans Professional growth and leadership opportunities in a high-performance culture Your New Organization This is a long-established, family-owned financial institution headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, with 250 employees and a reputation for excellence in mortgage banking, correspondent lending, and innovative treasury management solutions.
