Position Summary SecureCare is seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight on a part-time basis, approximately 10 hours per week. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CFO will play a key role in strengthening the organization's financial management, reporting, planning, and operational effectiveness. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, overseeing accounting and finance functions, evaluating financial policies and internal controls, and providing strategic guidance to support organizational growth and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare, review, and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and delivered in a timely manner. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Assist management in interpreting financial results and evaluating organizational performance. Accounting & Financial Operations Oversight Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to accounting and finance personnel. Review accounting processes, financial controls, and reporting procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, consultants, and other financial service providers as needed. Monitor day-to-day financial operations and recommend process improvements to enhance effectiveness and scalability. Governance, Policies & Internal Controls Evaluate existing financial and administrative policies, procedures, and internal controls. Assess risk management practices and identify opportunities to strengthen governance and accountability. Recommend enhancements to financial stewardship, compliance, and operational efficiency. Support the implementation of approved policy and procedural improvements. Strategic Financial Leadership Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and leadership team. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning. Participate in leadership and management meetings as requested. Conduct special financial analyses, operational reviews, and other agreed-upon projects that support organizational objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; CPA designation preferred. Significant senior-level financial leadership experience, including service as a CFO, Controller, or comparable executive role. Strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial analysis. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic financial guidance and drive organizational improvement. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with healthcare organizations, nonprofit entities, physician groups, IPAs, MSOs, or organizations of similar size and complexity is preferred. Reporting Relationship The Fractional CFO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will work closely with the executive leadership team to support the organization's financial and operational objectives. Time Commitment This is a part-time, fractional engagement requiring approximately 10 hours per week. Work schedules are flexible and will be coordinated based on organizational priorities and mutually agreed-upon needs.

$100.00 - $150.00 per hour
