Job Description:

Plum Alley Ventures Company (PAVC) is seeking an Associate to work closely with the COO and CFO across finance, operations, investor relations and firm-building initiatives. This is not a narrow functional role. The position is designed for a high-agency individual who wants broad exposure to how a modern venture capital platform is built, scaled and institutionalized. The role offers significant access to senior leadership and participation across key strategic priorities of the firm, including fund operations, LP engagement, financial management, infrastructure development, governance, ecosystem initiatives and operational scaling. The successful candidate will work across both strategic and execution-oriented initiatives and will be expected to operate with ownership, maturity and intellectual curiosity. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in high-accountability environments, is comfortable with ambiguity, and wants to compound their capabilities rapidly through broad responsibility and steep learning curves. Candidates with CPA credentials and experience within fund administration, venture capital, private equity or institutional finance environments will be particularly well positioned. PAVC is looking for someone who wants to build - not simply execute a predefined remit. The right candidate will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the long-term growth and operating architecture of the firm while developing exposure that is rarely accessible at this stage of a career.
