Company Overview Morgan Rubbish Removal/Dependable Disposal is a leading sanitation company based in, Syracuse, NY, dedicated to providing reliable waste management solutions for both commercial and residential clients. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive the company's growth. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects, including accounting, financial planning, risk management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive leader with strong financial acumen, excellent management skills, and a passion for fostering organizational success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees Accounting department and annual year end process for multiple companies. Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations, based on monthly financial reviews.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Statement of Cashflows. Prepares monthly and quarterly Consolidated statements, along with Covenant calculations for the Bank. Sales Tax returns, and other governmental agency reports. Monthly Bank reconciliations and due to/due from company reconciliations. Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets. Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods. Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination. Works with the President and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process. Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas. Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
