Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer provides strategic and operational leadership for the financial functions of Wilson Health, including financial planning, accounting, revenue cycle, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team, the CFO will guide financial strategy and support organizational decision-making while ensuring the long-term financial strength of the organization. Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational oversight of financial and administrative functions including accounting, budgeting, revenue cycle, patient access, health information management, case management, and supply chain operations.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee revenue cycle, accounting, financial operations, and internal controls.
- Present financial performance and strategy to the Board of Trustees.
- Build and develop a strong finance team while fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Partner with the executive leadership team to identify strategic partnerships, service line growth opportunities, and operational improvements that strengthen the long-term sustainability of independent rural healthcare.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Healthcare financial leadership experience required
- Experience in rural or independent hospital systems strongly preferred EOE
