Direct Hire - Hybrid Archon Resources is currently looking for a Chief Financial Officer for Direct Hire to join one of our best clients located in Edmond, OK . This is a permanent position opportunity with full benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, & 401k.
Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization. This includes financial planning, regulatory reporting, asset/liability management, and risk oversight. The CFO partners closely with executive leadership and the Board to establish and execute strategic initiatives that drive profitability while ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning Lead financial planning efforts, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning to support organizational growth Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives Regulatory & Financial Reporting Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory reports Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements Asset/Liability Management Monitor balance sheet performance, including liquidity, interest rate risk, and capital structure Support and contribute to asset/liability management processes and committees Risk Management Evaluate financial exposures and implement strategies to mitigate risk Provide insight into investment and liability structures to support sound financial decision-making Leadership & Team Development Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, including oversight of key functional leaders Establish strong internal controls and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Stakeholder Engagement Serve as a primary point of contact for auditors, regulators, and key external stakeholders Partner with executive leadership and the Board to provide financial insights and recommendations
Requirements:
Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required Certifications CPA or CFA designation preferred Experience 7-10+ years of progressive experience in banking, finance, or accounting Prior experience within a community banking environment strongly preferred Public accounting experience with exposure to financial institution audits will also be considered Technical Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of banking regulations, financial reporting standards, and regulatory filings Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel Reporting Structure Reports directly to executive leadership Oversees finance and accounting functions, including leadership of key team members and related departments as applicable
