Job Description

Overview Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for guiding organizations through complex financial landscapes? As a Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will serve as a vital partner to dynamic companies, providing expert financial stewardship, strategic planning, and risk management on a flexible basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your extensive expertise in corporate finance, accounting, and business development to help organizations achieve their growth objectives while maintaining fiscal integrity. Your energetic approach and proactive mindset will drive impactful financial decisions that propel our clients forward. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards). Lead risk analysis initiatives, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance, COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks, and regulatory reporting requirements. Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, expense management, cost control, and supply chain finance to optimize liquidity and operational efficiency. Guide mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting market analysis, valuation assessments, due diligence, and negotiation support. Provide strategic insights through financial modeling, forecasting, profit & loss analysis, and business analysis to inform executive decision-making. Supervise financial software systems and ensure accurate financial data collection for reporting purposes; oversee payroll management and expense tracking. Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting processes, fiscal management, revenue cycle management, and cost management initiatives to enhance overall business performance. Experience Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader within diverse industries such as non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, or private enterprises. Extensive knowledge of technical accounting standards including
GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606
(revenue recognition), and COSO frameworks for internal controls. Demonstrated expertise in risk management practices related to financial concepts like market analysis, regulatory compliance, and treasury operations. Strong background in financial analysis, report writing, interpretation of complex financial data, and strategic planning. Skilled in managing teams responsible for financial reporting, cost control, payroll management, and supply chain finance; capable of supervising multiple departments effectively. Experience with financial software platforms and tools essential for business analysis and modeling; familiarity with tax accounting and governmental accounting is advantageous.
