CFO-Construction-Executive Leadership Role

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) A highly established and steadily growing civil construction contractor is seeking a confidential addition to its executive leadership team: a Chief Financial Officer. Core Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial management including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Direct financial planning and analysis to support business growth and project-level profitability
• Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and capital structure strategy
• Establish and track financial KPIs across multiple divisions and project @types
• Ensure accurate job costing, WIP reporting, and revenue recognition practices Candidate Requirements
• 10+ years of progressive experience in senior financial leadership (CFO or equivalent)
• 5+ years of construction industry experience required
• Strong expertise in construction accounting, including job costing, WIP, and percentage-of-completion accounting
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-division organizational structures
• Demonstrated success leading financial strategy and supporting business growth Preferred Background
• Heavy civil, concrete, or multi-trade construction experience
• Exposure to bonding, surety relationships, and lender reporting requirements Compensation & Benefits
