Executive Vice President / Chief Financial Officer (EVP/CFO)
Location:
Houston, TX We are seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Vice President / Chief Financial Officer (EVP/CFO) to join our leadership team. This individual will oversee all financial operations and play a critical role in guiding the organization's long-term financial strategy and growth.Position Overview:
The EVP/CFO will serve as a key member of the executive team, responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance. This role will partner closely with the CEO and Board to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial health and stability.Key Responsibilities:
Lead all accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting and general ledger oversight Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and growth planning Provide insight and analysis on financial performance and key business drivers Develop and mentor finance and accounting teams Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, and financial institutionsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred CPA (strongly preferred) 10-15+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience Experience within a financial institution (credit union or banking environment strongly preferred) Strong background in audit and/or regulatory examiner experience highly preferred Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams Deep understanding of financial reporting, controls, and complianceCompensation & Benefits:
