Chief Financial Officer

We are partnered with a 20+ year, high-growth construction company at a pivotal moment in its evolution search for a strategy partner and Chief Financial Officer. The business is scaling aggressively through organic initiatives, and needs a seasoned CFO to help lead it through the next phase. This is a rare opportunity to join as a true executive partner with full ownership of the accounting and finance function! What you'll lead A finance team of 5 - 6, including a Corporate Controller and VP of FP&A Full P&L visibility across a project-driven business with complex revenue recognition FP&A, budgeting, and multi-year financial planning Revenue operations: billing, collections, cash flow, and project finance M&A activity: financial due diligence, deal structuring, and post-close integration Banking relationships, bonding capacity, and capital strategy Must-haves CPA required Deep experience with Percentage-of-Completion (POC) and Work-In-Progress (WIP) accounting •non-negotiable•Background in construction, engineering, or project-based manufacturing Proven track record scaling an accounting and corporate finance function through significant revenue growth Hands-on M&A experience: diligence, execution, and integration is desirable Senior leadership presence with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels The context The company is currently at ~$40-$60M in revenue, with a clear trajectory to $140M+ in the near term and $200M+ beyond that. Growth so far has been entirely organic and they are looking to diversity their strategy. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and have a seat at the leadership table from day one.
