Interim Market Chief Financial Officer

Join an Illinois healthcare organization as their next Interim Market Chief Financial Officer! ? The Position An Interim Market Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is needed to serve as the senior finance executive for a large multi-state healthcare region, providing strategic financial leadership and partnering with operations and strategy teams to drive organizational performance across hospitals, outpatient centers, urgent care locations, and specialty service lines. The Interim Market CFO will serve as the primary liaison between regional operations and enterprise finance teams, ensuring effective utilization of centralized resources while maintaining strong internal controls, asset protection, and financial governance standards. Lead the development of annual budgets, long-range financial plans, and performance improvement initiatives, leveraging financial analysis and operational insights to support growth, efficiency, and achievement of enterprise objectives. This leader will provide executive oversight for key financial and operational functions, including revenue cycle, managed care, supply chain, and joint venture performance, while ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and regulatory requirements. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements Master's degree in finance, business administration, or related discipline is required. CPA certification is preferred. A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in healthcare finance with a minimum of five years of management experience is required.
Compensation Details Compensation Range:
$360,000 to $370,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
