Job Description

A Bodily Injury Supervisor coaches and develops a team of claims representatives/specialists responsible for the management, investigation, and resolution of injury claims, ensuring a high-quality work product, while continuously developing talent by assisting with the selection of top talent. Leads and develops a team of representatives ensuring the quality, accuracy and timely resolution of claims that may include up to high exposure/litigated/complex cases Continuously develops talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and strengthen new skills Monitors and audits the work of team members to ensure reserves are adequately set based on known file exposures Promotes a culture committed to identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve how work is completed Self-driven and able to work with minimal oversight while helping adjusters solve complex claims in multiple states Collaborates well with attorneys, vendors and other external parties, while representing Tesla in official responsibilities Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills Management of litigation claims handlers Comprehensive knowledge of legal liability, general insurance policy coverage and the State's Tort Laws May perform other responsibilities as assigned Property and Casualty (P&C) adjuster's license in the state of domicile, plus non-resident adjuster's licenses in all other states where required—or the ability to obtain them within 60 days of starting Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program
