Job Description

Workers'Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Workers' Compensation Assistant, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in supporting our workers' compensation processes. In this position, you will assist in managing claims, coordinating communication between injured employees and insurance providers, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Your proactive approach will help us maintain a safe and supportive environment for all team members, while contributing to efficient claims management and resolution. Responsibilities Assist in the processing and tracking of workers' compensation claims from initiation through resolution. Coordinate communication between injured employees, healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and internal teams to facilitate timely updates and follow-ups. Gather necessary documentation such as medical reports, accident reports, and employment records to support claims review. Maintain accurate records of all claim activities, correspondence, and related documentation in designated systems. Support the preparation of reports on claim status, trends, and outcomes for management review. Collaborate with safety teams to promote injury prevention initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries from injured employees and other stakeholders. Qualifications Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail to manage multiple claims efficiently. Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with employees, healthcare providers, insurance representatives, and internal teams. Prior experience or familiarity with workers' compensation processes or insurance claims is preferred but not required. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially with professionalism and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or similar software for record keeping and reporting purposes. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
