AutoNation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Manager to join our dynamic Risk Management team. As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of insurance claims in coordination with the third-party administrator and other vendors, with the primary focus being Workers' Compensation claims. This individual contributor role involves handling certain claim submissions, assessing reserves, managing litigation, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. If you have a strong background in insurance claims management, particularly in Workers' Compensation, and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
Claims Processing:
Efficiently manage the end-to-end claims process in collaboration with the third-party administrator, from initial submission to final resolution.Negotiation:
Skillfully negotiate in partnership with the third-party administrator and outside counsel to achieve fair and optimal claim settlements.Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all claims, correspondence, and relevant documentation.Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all insurance regulations and industry standards.Customer Communication:
Provide excellent customer service by keeping internal and external stakeholders informed throughout the claims process and addressing their concerns.Data Analysis:
Analyze claims data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on claims activities and performance metrics for management.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, or Insurance). At least five years of experience in claims management within the automotive industry or a related field; experience with Workers' Compensation claims is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry best practices. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and leverage data. Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with claim management systems (i.e., Origami).Exciting Benefits and Perks Await You:
