Workers Compensation Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Workers Compensation Clerk to join our Highland Clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of workers' compensation processes with a focus on ensuring accurate claims and regulatory compliance. As a Workers Compensation Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing workers' compensation claims and maintaining precise records to facilitate efficient claims resolution and compliance with applicable laws. Duties Process workers' compensation claims accurately and efficiently. Maintain detailed records of claims, medical reports, and related documentation. Collaborate with insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and internal departments to facilitate claim resolution and ensure proper documentation. Assist patients (or employees) with workers' compensation procedures, providing clear communication and guidance on benefits and required documentation. Ensure compliance with employment laws including OSHA, HIPAA, and ADA regulations while handling sensitive employee information. Prepare regulatory reports related to workers' compensation claims and ensure adherence to state and federal reporting requirements. Adhere to all Clinic Polices and Procedures. Maintatin confidentiality of all clinic and employee claims, Skills Extensive knowledge of workers' compensation laws, employment & labor law, and regulatory reporting standards. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, employees, insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and internal teams. Pay:

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
