The Welfare Investigations Unit is looking for a Non-Commissioned Investigator to join our team. In this role, you won't just browse the internet, you will leverage databases, open-source intelligence, and sharp interviewing skills to protect public resources and ensure system integrity. Responsibilities - What you'll do What you'll do:
Investigate & Analyze:
Receive fraud referrals, conduct preliminary investigations, and dive deep into databases to analyze complex information and formulate a strategic course of action.
Interview & Connect:
Conduct telephone interviews to gather critical facts and clarify details.
Document & Report:
Maintain meticulous tracking of complaints and referrals, translating your findings into clear, concise, and impactful reports. If you have a sharp analytical mind, an eye for detail, and a passion for investigative work, we want to hear from you. Qualifications - All you need for success
Minimum Qualifications:
2 or more years of relevant experience. A working knowledge of welfare benefit programs and experience in eligibility determination is a plus.
Experience, Skills and Abilities :
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting research, collecting and organizing documents along with good interpersonal and written communication skills. These skills should be reflected in the candidates' resume. Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
