Job Description

Position Summary Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and review of denied claims to recapture revenue. Ensures that insurance requirements and financial obligations are obtained and/or communicated to patients for collection of elective hospital services prior to date of service and/or billing. Primary Position Responsibilities Research and recovery of denied insurance claims. Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits. Secures precertification, preauthorization, and referrals. Researches, communicates and collects copay/coinsurance obligations. Completes Insurance Notifications.
