Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Claims Adjuster to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will work closely with clients, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and facilitate the claims process efficiently. Duties Investigate claims by gathering relevant information, including statements from involved parties and documentation of damages. Analyze policy coverage and determine the validity of claims based on established guidelines. Negotiate settlements with claimants and their representatives to reach fair resolutions. Utilize financial software to document findings and maintain accurate records of all claims activities. Ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws and regulations throughout the claims process. Implement fraud prevention detection measures to identify potentially fraudulent claims. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from claimants in a timely manner. Collaborate with other departments as needed to facilitate the resolution of complex claims. Conduct auto estimating for vehicle-related claims to assess damages accurately. Skills Strong understanding of workers' compensation law and related regulations. Proficiency in financial software for effective documentation and analysis. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple claims simultaneously. Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions based on findings. Exceptional negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for all parties involved. Proven customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Experience in fraud prevention detection techniques is highly desirable. Knowledge of auto estimating processes is a plus.
