We serve Western Pa, Eastern Ohio, West Virginia and pan handle of Maryland. We help people get fair settlements from their home or business insurance for property damage. This job is an entry-level position, you will begin by primarily assisting a Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster. A Public Insurance Adjuster's responsibilities are investigating, negotiating, and settling property insurance claims involving complex property losses as a result of, for example, fire, or water.
Duties and responsibilities:
You will work closely with clients for months while their case is being processed and settled. Gather information on the case, explain next steps, and keep clients updated. Relay offers to clients. Besides working with the clients you will work with the insurance adjuster, attorneys, and vendors. You will request and obtain documents from the insured and insurance companies as needed. Visit loss site and help with building estimate, (construction experience a plus). Our goal for you is to get your Public Adjuster's License as soon as you feel ready. You will be required to take Continuing Education Classes to maintain your license. Other certification classes are available to advance your career. Typical Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm, and some weekends. Good people skills Must have a Drivers License.
