Job Description

Overview Join our medical equipment team as a Claim Specialist / Customer Service Rep and become a vital part of our commitment to delivering exceptional service and accurate claims processing. In this busy role, you will investigate, evaluate, and resolve insurance claims. Your experience in analysis and negotiation will drive fair outcomes for patients. This position offers a great opportunity to apply your organizational skills and claims knowledge in a fast-paced environment dedicated to integrity and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include:
Review and analyze incoming claim denials and determine validity, scope, and appropriate resolution pathways. Communicate effectively with claimants, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams to gather necessary information. Maintain detailed records of claim activities, correspondence, and decisions in accordance with organizational standards. Answer phones and create orders for medical equipment deliveries. Other tasks as assigned by management. Requirements Proven experience in claims investigation. Strong analysis skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, assess risks, and make informed decisions quickly. Excellent negotiation skills to achieve fair resolutions while maintaining positive customer relationships. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple claims efficiently without sacrificing accuracy or attention to detail. Outstanding customer service abilities with a professional approach to solving claims issues.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
