Claims Adjuster

RCO Inc. is a rapidly growing public adjusting firm dedicated to helping policyholders maximize and properly manage their insurance claims. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster / Appraisal Specialist to join our team. This position will play a key role in handling property claims, preparing estimates, negotiating with carriers, and assisting with insurance appraisals. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, and looking for long-term growth within a high-performing company.

Responsibilities:

Handle and manage residential and commercial property claims Review policies, damages, estimates, and supporting documentation Prepare and review estimates using Xactimate Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers Assist with appraisal process and dispute resolution Coordinate inspections with contractors, engineers, and mitigation teams Maintain accurate claim notes and documentation Support clients throughout the claim process Assist with claim strategy and settlement negotiations

Qualifications:

Experience in property claims, adjusting, restoration, or appraisals preferred Xactimate experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of insurance claims process Excellent communication and negotiation skills Organized and detail-oriented Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously Self-motivated and professional Public Adjuster license preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Base Pay + Commission/Bonus Structure Compensation dependent on experience
