Claims Adjuster

Are you ready to make your impact to help pets? What you'll do here:

• Manage the claims process from receiving the claim through approval and payment
• Handle all customers with the highest level of professionalism providing world-class customer service
• Provide guidance to customers to facilitate understanding of recommended treatments and associated coverages
• Monitor, track, and report on claims submitted
• Interact with veterinary clinics and customers to ensure timely responses to questions and claim resolution
• Meet or exceed all partner and Companion Protect, LLC standards for timeliness, accuracy, and claims volume
• Document processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improved system processes when applicable
• Evaluate issues outside the scope of claims responsibility but necessary to the process of payment, directing the issues to the appropriate department with follow-up to ensure resolution of the issue resulting in claim payment
• All other duties as assigned What you'll bring to the team:
• Insurance Adjuster License (strongly preferred)
• 3+ years of claims handling experience (pet, auto, property, or similar)
• Strong communication skills across phone, email, and chat
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology
• Veterinary clinic or pet insurance experience (strongly preferred)
