Job Description

Claims Manager, Commercial Location:
Hybrid - SE Bergen County We are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join a growing team in managing commercial lines claims with a focus on Real Estate Development and Healthcare industries. As a growing leader in the insurance industry, they pride themselves on possessing strong client and employee retention and a culture that values hard work, expertise, and collaboration. Seeking experienced claims manager with construction experience who shares a drive for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the full claims lifecycle for commercial lines and NY/NJ Labor law, WC, and property claims. Ensure claims are processed efficiently, in compliance with regulations, and meet company standards. Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to a growing claims team. Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriters, adjusters, and other departments to resolve claims. Maintain strong client relationships, offering guidance and updates on claim status. Stay up to date on NY Workers' Comp regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in claims management, with strong knowledge of commercial lines and NY Workers' Comp law. Proven track record of managing complex claims and leading teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote or hybrid work environment. Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
