Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) is recruiting for a Claims Specialist 2. The position works in the claims department of a public entity risk pool and provides claims handling, management, oversight, direction, support, and administration. Work is performed following established office procedures and general directions. Regarding Hybrid Work. Initially, we expect the employee hired to receive in-person training and work from the WSTIP Office in Olympia, WA as requested for the purpose of learning the role and developing team cohesion. After a period of time, the employee could be offered the ability to work from a home office as long as the employee is in good standing and able to work from their residence within Washington State. The position also requires occasional overnight travel to meetings with WSTIP Members, WSTIP Staff or Board meetings, and/or for professional development.
