THIS POSITION IS BASED IN MIAMI, FLORIDA. WE SEEK LOCAL CANDIDATES ABLE TO COMMUTE TO/FROM OUR OFFICE IN CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA.

Ascendant Claims Services LLC, a trusted affiliate of Ascendant Commercial Insurance Inc., is seeking an experienced Litigation Claims Adjuster for our Bodily Injury Claims Division to join our dynamic third-party claims administration organization. Coral Gables, Florida Work Schedule:

Following the 90-day probationary period, the adjuster will be eligible to participate in the Work-from-Home Program. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Effectively manage an inventory of litigated and non-litigated Bodily Injury claims by keeping abreast of any/all changes /documentation from initial evaluation to final disposition. Consistently communicate with claimants, attorneys, insureds, medical professionals, or witnesses, to compile information regarding accidents and resulting claim information. Unfailingly maintain claim reviews on a monthly basis consistent with the requirements of Claims' Best Practices. Persistently return all phone calls/contact inquiries to maintain high levels of customer service.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-7 years of Bodily Injury claims adjusting experience. Must have a valid Florida All Lines Adjusters License - 520/620. Full understanding of Bodily Injury claims investigations and claims processing. Knowledge of the mechanics of Bodily Injury, medical terminology, and settlement negotiations. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Experienced in problem-solving and organizational skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
