Property Condition Analyst

Property Inspector- These field inspections are conducted for mortgage companies to determine the occupancy status and condition of property. When a property is vacant, an interior inspection could be required. You are considered an independent contractor, therefore you are a 1099 employee. You are paid a flat fee per inspection based on your location and its volume, and there are no reimbursements for mileage/fuel or other expenses you incur. The volume of work varies slightly from week to week. You are required to maintain on time work (complete by due dates), but you make your own schedule. Being available to work a minimum of two (2) days per week is necessary to maintain on time work. To be considered you must have the following: A reliable, fuel efficient vehicle to drive to properties GPS Laptop or Desktop PC Smart Phone - or Tablet (IPhone or Android) Printer You MUST be able to pass a background check

Duties:

Route your inspections in an efficient manner Travel to properties and conduct inspections: taking photos, reporting conditions Most inspections are exterior only and take an average of 2-5 minutes. Some will require you to approach the property to leave a door card. Some properties are vacant and required a walk around, then gaining access via lockbox to complete a walk through. A very small percentage of jobs are "insurance loss" inspections that require an appointment with the homeowner (these have a higher pay rate). Photos are taken from your smart device through our inspection app. You are required to complete a brief form answering questions about the property inspected, then label the photos taken. Once completed, you validate and upload the order directly from your smart device.
