What You'll Do:
Manage workers' compensation cases from an administrative and compliance standpoint , ensuring accurate documentation, timely form submissions (e.g., C-9, C-84, MEDCO), and adherence to state and federal regulations. Acts as the primary liaison between providers, patients, internal staff, BWC, MCOs, carriers, and self-insured employers to communicate claim status, authorizations, and next steps. Maintains precise and up-to-date records within electronic medical systems, documenting all actions, conversations, billing activity, and claim updates related to each patient account. Reviews medical documentation and claim details using sound judgment to determine service needs, additional authorizations, billing accuracy, and retro approvals. Supports efficient clinic operations and patient care by preparing WC templates, submitting daily records, auditing claims, following up on outstanding requests, and upholding organizational standards, ethics, and collaboration.

Required Education and Experience:
Previous experience in Workers' Compensation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, surgery, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, and the various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibility. Work Authorization Must be able to provide required documentation stating that the employee is legal to work in the United States.
