This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in water mitigation and restoration, familiarity with of
IICRC S500
standards, Xactimate estimating software, and proven experience negotiating with personal property adjusters. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of invoices and claims, negotiating settlements, and ensuring payment is collected within 60 days. Duties Submit finalized invoices for complete projects to the responsible party. Provide thorough documentation referencing
IICRC S500
standards to support invoiced line items, especially those challenged by adjusters. Negotiate directly with personal property claims adjusters and/or property owners to reach fair and timely settlements. Act as the primary liaison between property owners, insurance adjusters, and American Water Damage throughout the claims and restoration process providing superior follow up and constant communication. Follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely collection from insurance companies and/or homeowners. Maintain highly accurate and detailed records of all documentation, correspondence, and financial transactions throughout the mitigation and collection process. Requirements IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification ore proven, relevant experience. Familiarity with the
IICRC S500
standards. Proven experience negotiating with personal property adjusters. 2+ years of experience working with Xactimate estimating software. Strong computer skills particularly working in a CRM Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated success in collections and insurance billing follow-up. Highly organized and capable of managing hundreds of claims and invoices simultaneously. Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism in the field. 5 YEARS
