This role will provide leadership, technical guidance, and operational oversight to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant claim resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong Texas auto claims experience, including complex liability, bodily injury, attorney-represented, and higher exposure files, with a proven ability to coach teams and improve claim outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support a team of auto claims adjusters and support staff
- Oversee claim handling activities, workload distribution, and file progression
- Review complex claims for coverage, liability, documentation, reserves, and settlement strategy
- Provide technical guidance on difficult claim decisions and escalations
- Monitor productivity, quality, compliance, and service standards
- Support training, development, and performance improvement of claims staff
- Ensure compliance with Texas insurance regulations and company guidelines
- Collaborate with leadership, attorneys, vendors, and internal stakeholders to improve claim efficiency Qualifications
- 5+ years of Texas auto claims experience
- Prior claims leadership and supervisory experience is required
- Experience handling attorney-represented and complex liability claims required
- 5+ years of mediation and litigation experience required
- Active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License required
- Strong knowledge of auto liability, coverage analysis, and claims litigation
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop claims professionals
- Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
- Experience with claims systems and business software
