Full Job Description Position:
Claims Examiner Duration:
July 13, 2026•October 3, 2026 (12 Weeks)
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate:
$22.00/hour
Job Responsibilities:
Process and adjudicate medical claims (target: 150 claims/day). Maintain 98% accuracy in claims processing. Process UB and
CMS-1500
medical claims. Resolve claim pends and correct DoD error reports. Respond to Customer Service and Provider Relations inquiries. Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient information (PHI).
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Previous payer-side medical claims processing experience is required. Experience working with one or more of the following health insurance organizations: Aetna Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
Cigna UnitedHealthcare Preferred Skills:
Experience processing UB and
CMS-1500
claims. Strong data entry and analytical skills. Knowledge of claim adjudication and issue resolution. Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy. #Medical1
