Job Description

Villa Homes is seeking a Warranty Specialist to handle all aspects of warranty claims and services. This role involves managing claims, coordinating repairs, and communicating with vendors, subcontractors, and customers to ensure timely resolutions. To excel in this position, you must be highly organized, possess strong time management skills, and be able to work independently. The Warranty Specialist will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the overall efficiency of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and resolve warranty claims by gathering data from contractors, sales representatives, field techs, and personal site investigations. Determine necessary repairs and communicate with all relevant parties, including negotiating to resolve claims. Obtain repair quotes, identify repair contractors, order and ship materials, and process contractor invoices. Coordinate and schedule repairs with contractors and ensure work is completed satisfactorily. Monitor Construction Online daily for customer messages, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly. Keep Construction Online up to date with the latest warranty-related information. Prepare documents such as memos, letters, and reports by gathering, analyzing, and verifying relevant data. Organize and participate in meetings with customers and management to address concerns, including after-hours support when needed. Assist with monthly vehicle inspection sheets.
Skills & Experience:
Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Operate with a high level of discretion and maintain confidentiality. Strong verbal and listening skills for effective communication, with attention to detail when addressing customer concerns. Detail-oriented and knowledgeable about compliance with labor standards. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with people from various backgrounds. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Familiarity with office equipment and applications (e.g., e-calendars, copy machines). Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
