The SIU Investigator is responsible for conducting detailed and objective investigations related to suspected fraud or suspicious claims activity. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex cases while maintaining professionalism in all customer-facing interactions. Required Qualifications Prior experience in Special Investigations Unit (SIU), claims handling, or investigative work Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage multiple cases effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on detailed documentation Demonstrated ability to handle difficult or sensitive customer interactions Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and standard business applications Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or active pursuit of a degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Healthcare, or a related field Knowledge of insurance fraud indicators, investigative techniques, and regulatory requirements
