What You'll Do Review and interpret policy coverage to determine whether the claim is payable under the policy Correspond with insured's, claimants, medical specialists, agents, and witnesses to compile information Take accurate and detailed statements from all involved parties Calculate and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit Negotiate and settle property losses with little oversight Identify recovery and subrogation potential and handle according to company procedural guidelines What We're Looking For Possess and maintain Property & Casualty Adjuster License issued by the Texas Department of Insurance High school Diploma or GED, College degree is a plus 2+ years of experience in handling personal auto claims Wields exceptional oral and written communication skills Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English) Strong negotiation skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
