We are currently hiring a Roof Inspector / Insurance Adjuster Coordinator to join our field operations team. Position Overview This role is responsible for meeting with insurance adjusters during property inspections, documenting storm-related roof damage, assisting with claim progression, and ensuring accurate information is gathered to help homeowners receive fair claim outcomes. The Roof Inspector acts as the field representative during insurance inspections and plays a critical role in identifying damage, advocating for proper documentation, and supporting the overall claims process. This is a highly active, field-based position that requires confidence, professionalism, attention to detail, and comfort working on roofs. ResponsibilitiesInsurance Inspection Coordination Meet insurance adjusters onsite during scheduled property inspections Walk roofs alongside adjusters to identify and document storm-related damage Ensure all relevant roofing components and damage areas are properly inspected Professionally communicate findings and installation concerns during inspections Roof Inspections & Damage Documentation Perform detailed roof inspections for storm, wind, and hail damage Photograph and document relevant damage thoroughly Mark and identify damaged areas when necessary Pull shingle samples for testing and matching Perform demonstrative repairability tests when applicable Document collateral damage and supporting evidence for claim progression Claim Support Assist in progressing insurance claims through proper documentation Work closely with sales representatives, office staff, and supplement teams Upload inspection photos, notes, and documentation into CRM systems Help identify missing scope items or overlooked damage Support supplement requests and claim revisions when necessary Customer Experience Educate homeowners on inspection findings and next steps Maintain professional communication with homeowners throughout the process Represent the company professionally in the field at all times Qualifications Roofing, construction, or exterior restoration experience preferred Comfortable climbing ladders and walking steep roofs Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate professionally with adjusters and homeowners Ability to take clear photos and detailed documentation Organized and dependable Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Preferred Experience Insurance restoration or storm damage experience Roofing inspections or field inspection experience Understanding of roofing systems and installation methods Experience working with insurance adjusters Familiarity with JobNimbus or CRM systems HAAG certification is a plus (not required) Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + performance bonuses Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (depending on experience) Gas reimbursement Ongoing training and certifications Leadership growth opportunities Fast-paced and team-oriented environment Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding company Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Is confident and professional in the field Has strong observational and problem-solving skills Enjoys working outdoors and staying active Takes pride in attention to detail Can professionally advocate during inspections Wants long-term growth opportunities within the company Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday + occasional field appointments as needed Field-Based Position throughout
