Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Team Lead to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes within our operations. This pivotal role involves leading a team responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality management, logistics, and regulatory frameworks such as
OSHA, FDA
regulations, and supply chain standards. As a leader in our organization, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage risk assessments, and uphold the highest levels of safety and quality across all operational facets. Responsibilities Lead and mentor the quality assurance team to ensure adherence to OSHA standards, FDA regulations, and other relevant compliance requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with industry best practices. Oversee logistics operations related to freight, transportation management, and fleet management to ensure efficient and compliant delivery processes. Conduct regular audits of supply chain activities to identify risks, non-compliance issues, and opportunities for process improvements. Prepare detailed regulatory reports and documentation to support compliance management and regulatory reporting obligations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, transportation, and supply chain departments to optimize operational workflows. Manage risk assessments related to freight handling, transportation safety, and regulatory compliance. Write clear and thorough reports on quality metrics, audit findings, incident investigations, and corrective actions. Ensure all operational activities meet safety standards while maintaining efficiency in freight movement and transportation logistics. Drive initiatives that promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Qualifications Proven experience leading quality assurance teams within logistics or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, FDA guidelines, and other relevant industry standards. Familiarity with freight management systems, transportation management software, and fleet management practices. Experience in regulatory reporting, risk management, and compliance management processes. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to analyze data and communicate findings effectively. Ability to develop training programs focused on safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in audit procedures and documentation. Effective leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and cross-department collaboration.
