Security & Compliance Hybrid:
Irvine, CA 92617 $70.00 - 74.00/hr W2 The Senior Project Manager, Security & Compliance is responsible for driving organizational readiness and ensuring timely remediation of findings identified through the Global Audit program and other ongoing compliance processes. This role leads large-scale, enterprise-wide security audit initiatives and partners closely with technical, security, and business stakeholders to strengthen the company's security posture and adherence to industry standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end project management for major security audit and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory expectations. Coordinate remediation activities for audit findings, ensuring accountability, tracking progress, and validating closure across multiple business units. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, security, compliance, operations, and executive leadership teams. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk logs, and status reports to ensure transparency and effective execution. Prepare executive-level presentations, briefings, and updates for senior leadership and governance committees. Support the creation, review, and maintenance of technical architecture documentation, system diagrams, and related artifacts. Promote consistent adherence to security frameworks, policies, and best practices across the organization. Required Qualifications Minimum 7 years of project management experience, preferably within technical, security, or compliance environments. Deep familiarity with security audits, vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and compliance frameworks such as
SOC 2, ISO
27001, and similar standards. Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives involving diverse, cross-functional stakeholders. Strong executive communication skills, including experience preparing high-quality presentations and delivering briefings to senior leaders. Experience coordinating or developing technical architecture documentation and system diagrams. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent platforms. #ZR #INDGEN
