This role serves as the company's central control point for subcontract documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance before any subcontractor payments are processed. Duties, including but not limited to: Subcontract Administration Manage subcontract agreements, subcontractor change orders, and subcontractor billing processes from execution through closeout. Document Control & Quality Assurance Oversee document accuracy, compliance, completeness, and consistency across all subcontract files. Compliance & Insurance Tracking Monitor and maintain subcontractor compliance (insurance, licenses, W-9, etc.), including tracking expiration dates and coverage compliance. Company-Wide Subcontractor Oversight Serve as the primary internal resource for subcontract compliance and administrative standards. Accounting Interface & Payment Control Review all subcontractor documentation for completeness before submission to accounting for payment. Ensure receipt of releases from subcontractors and sub-tier/suppliers. Requirements 3+ years of experience in subcontract administration, construction accounting support, or project controls. Strong understanding of subcontract agreements, billing processes, and construction documentation requirements. Experience reviewing subcontractor pay applications and supporting documentation. High attention to detail and organization with strong auditing and compliance skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and experience with construction management systems such as Procore or similar. Intrapreneurial mindset with ownership of subcontract systems, processes, and standards across the company. Able to operate independently, improve processes, and identify inefficiencies before they become issues. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across Project Management, Field Operations, and Accounting.
