This outstanding opportunity places you at the forefront of global trade compliance, enabling you to lead and coordinate key elements with a world-class team. Responsibilities- Manage the process for screening transactions for restricted end-uses, end-users, and end-destinations, and resolve whether export license is required under applicable export laws for all cross-border transactions.
- Support the implementation of screening the Watchlist/Sanctioned Parrty List (SPL) platform by conducting due diligence, identifying and resolving potential red flags.
- Manage processes for resolving licenses and help prepare and submit any required export licenses or authorizations.
- Manage the process for the sale of used semiconductor manufacturing equipment ("SME") to ensure compliance with applicable restrictions related to SME under the
EAR 744.23
(a)(4)- Lead global trade compliance projects, driving standardization, process improvement, and scalability across regions.
- Manage the export filing (AES) for applicable shipments and ensure the data is accurate and the records are maintained.
- Partner with IT and business collaborators to deliver enterprise processes/system integration and automation.
- Support program governance, timelines, milestones, risks, and success metrics; communicate status to collaborators and leadership.
- Support and manage integration of export compliance processes with enterprise systems, including OCR, SAP, CRM, Dynamics, Model N and other ERP platforms.
- Help develop and implement risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance processes are effective. Identify gaps, assess risk, and drive corrective and preventive actions with clear owners and due dates.
- Support internal/external audits and regulatory inquiries by gathering documentation, evidence packages, and process narratives as required.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, controls, and records retention practices for EUC/OCR workflows.
- Establish and monitor KPIs (e.g., cycle time, backlog, quality/error rate, audit findings closure) and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver role-based export compliance training for global partners; maintain training materials and job aids.
- Support other initiatives and projects as provided by global trade compliance leaders and senior management.
Travel:
10-20%/ As needed. Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in export compliance, global trade, trade operations, or program management in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of the US and other countries export regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR"), OFAC, ITAR.
- Experience with developing and conducting audit and risk assessments for global trade and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with automated trade compliance systems and tools, ERP platforms, and compliance analytics/reporting.
- Strong program management skills (planning, risk management, partner communication, and delivery).
- High discernment and good understanding of distribution and supply chain mapping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executive audiences.
- Systems thinking, data quality focus, and integration capability.
- Training, enablement, and change management. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor, technology, or global manufacturing environments.
