- 40/hour BOE Linwood Meadows Care Center is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Director of Staff Development (DSD) to support our clinical education and compliance programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Receive and follow schedules and instructions from supervisor in accordance with facility policies Assist in organizing and conducting new employee orientation, including resident rights, infection control, safety, and facility policies Support scheduling and coordination of in-service education programs Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orientation and in-service attendance Ensure all trainings are scheduled timely and posted in designated areas Maintain department records in an organized and compliant manner Assist with employee health requirements, including pre-employment screenings and ongoing compliance tracking Coordinate and document fire drills and internal disaster drills Promote positive communication and maintain strong working relationships with staff, residents, and the public Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and responding to inquiries Maintain supply inventory and order necessary materials Assist with HR and payroll-related tasks as needed Participate in facility surveys and audits Assist in recording incidents/accidents per facility protocol Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information (HIPAA compliance) Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator, DON, or supervisor Supervisory Requirements This position does not have supervisory responsibilities Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Experience in healthcare, staff development, or training coordination preferred Strong clerical, organizational, and computer skills required Skills & Abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, and regulations Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Technical Skills Proficient in computer systems and office equipment (copier, fax, scanner, etc.) Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs Frequent use of computers and office equipment May assist during emergency situations as needed Work Environment Skilled nursing facility setting Low to moderate noise level Interaction with staff, residents, families, and regulatory personnel Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement Linwood Meadows Care Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
