Headquartered in Washington, D.C., The Asia Group ("TAG") is a strategic and capital advisory firm that positions clients - ranging from Fortune 100 multinationals to innovative startups - for success in established and emerging markets across the Indo-Pacific region. Our diverse team possesses decades of government and private sector experience with a work ethos that emphasizes teamwork, collegiality, creativity, entrepreneurialism, and mentorship. Reporting to the COO, this is a newly created role designed to enable the continued growth and scale of TAG's global business and operations footprint, provide legal counsel on a diverse array of topics, and manage legal risks to the organization. The position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled attorney to engage with diverse legal matters, collaborate across teams, and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, and will bring expertise in commercial contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and data privacy. They should be adaptable, proactive, excel at multi-tasking, and be capable of balancing legal risks with strategic business goals.
