Job Description

Employee Benefit Systems (EBS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance Manager to lead compliance initiatives and support the administration of employee benefit plans for our clients. This role combines regulatory expertise, client consulting, operational leadership, and team management in a growing third-party administration environment. If you enjoy solving complex compliance challenges, interpreting regulations, supporting clients, and developing staff, we'd love to hear from you. About the Role The Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance for employee benefit plans administered by EBS. This position manages plan documentation, compliance testing, regulatory reporting, HIPAA privacy and security initiatives, and compliance-related client consulting while leading our Flex/HSA/HRA administration team. Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Regulatory Oversight Provide guidance regarding HIPAA privacy and security requirements Assist with HIPAA training and education initiatives Investigate privacy and security incidents and recommend corrective actions Oversee plan documents and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs) Conduct nondiscrimination testing Monitor regulatory and legislative changes affecting employee benefits Manage PCORI reporting and plan credibility determinations Research and interpret ERISA, Section 125, and related benefit regulations Client Consulting Advise clients regarding employee benefit compliance requirements Participate in implementation and strategy meetings Provide compliance guidance to employers and insurance professionals Leadership Supervise and develop assigned staff Conduct performance evaluations Provide coaching, training, and professional development Promote collaboration across departments
Pay:
$62,786.18 - $71,015.00 per year
