Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance & Risk Manager to oversee our organization's compliance framework and risk management strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, expertise in regulatory requirements, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. This role involves ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, payer requirements, contractual obligations, and internal policies and procedures. Develop and maintain an annual compliance calendar that tracks all regulatory, licensing, accreditation, contractual, reporting, training, policy review, audit, and risk management obligations across the organization Conduct annual mock surveys for operational units to assess preparedness for regulatory inspections, to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct audits for administrative units by reviewing documentation, processes, employee knowledge, and operational compliance. Identify and monitor compliance gaps, operational risks, and documentation deficiencies before formal surveys or audits occur. Monitor and interpret regulatory changes impacting home care, healthcare operations, employment practices, privacy, billing, quality, and safety. Ensure organizational SOP aligns with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational objectives. Coordinate organizational responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, inspections, and compliance reviews Ensure continuous survey readiness throughout the organization. Informs leadership team on emerging regulatory changes, risks and compliance exposures. Promote compliance awareness and lead compliance-related change management initiatives. Coordinate Emergency drills with Office Operations team and preparedness plan alongside Ensure IRS tax filing is done promptly by the finance department and accurately across all states Prepare and maintain compliance reports and registers . Be familiar with all Regulatory Bodies & External Stakeholder such as but not limited to:
IDPH, IDOA, SAM.GOV, IMPACT, CMS, MEDICAID, HIPAA
Department of Labor (State & Federal), EEOC, OSHA Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Payer's Regulation etc.

Licensing Bodies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field 3-5 years' experience in home healthcare industry Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory bodies (e.g., IDPH, CMS, Medicaid, HIPAA, OSHA, Department of Labor) Strong audit, documentation, and reporting skills Ability to lead cross-functional compliance initiatives
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
