Job Description

Provides leadership, regulatory oversight, and operational direction across multiple behavioral health clinics. This role ensures full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, with particular emphasis on Louisiana behavioral health requirements. Responsible for the regulatory oversight of existing behavioral health clinics and collaborates with the Department of Psychiatry to support the growth, development, and expansion of services and research studies. This includes ensuring compliance and operational excellence across clinics. Supports and collaborates with Clinical Administrator III in fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment. Meets regularly with Department and TUMG leadership on all regulatory and operational updates and concerns.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field required. Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare services required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple clinic areas, programs, or service lines. Prior experience in behavioral health services, including program management and clinic operations. Experience with regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and healthcare operations. Experience with accreditation organizations (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF). Comprehensive knowledge of Louisiana Behavioral Health regulations (LDH and OBH) and licensing requirements. Strong understanding of federal and state compliance standards, including CMS, Medicaid/Medicare, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2. Proven ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and compliance programs within clinic settings. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
