Job Description
The Pharmacy Automation and Quality Manager provides strategic oversight of the hospital's automated drug distribution infrastructure and controlled substance compliance program. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, this position leads the maintenance and optimization of automation (i.e., Omnicell systems), manages controlled substance auditing and diversion prevention systems (i.e., Bluesight) initiatives using diversion prevention systems, and ensures regulatory compliance across inpatient and outpatient settings. The Manager collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to maintain system integrity, advance medication safety, and serves as the pharmacy department's liaison for regulatory inspections and oversight activities.
